Indeed, you find it an in-between full-frame and frameless. It is designed to have a plastic line which holds the lenses to the rim and the bridge becomes the connection of the half frame which includes the two lenses. It is a combination of quality, refinement, elegance and style.
It does make my pair of semi-rimless eyeglasses lighter than full-rim eyeglasses. Consequently, this reduces the burden on the nose. A pair of cheap prescription glasses is worth mentioning because semi-rimless gives me a natural look. For those who would like to look more mature, you can wear semi-Rimless Glasses. These pair or cheap prescription glasses will make you appear intellectually developed. Naturally, there is no reason for me to hide my age but it sure does help when I am doing business with people. It also adds accent to my business suit and I find this really very important as our office requires people to dress formally at all times.
